Type of Material:

Zirconia Yttria stabilized - is a zirconium-oxide based ceramic, in which the particular crystal structure of zirconium oxide is made stable at room temperature by an addition of yttrium oxide.

Manufacturing technique:

• Slip casting
• Iso-static pressed

Application:

• Highest fracture toughness of the oxide ceramic materials
• High thermal shock resistance
• Compatible coefficients of expansion with steel
• High chemical corrosion resistance
• Chemically inert
• Very low thermal conductivity
