ROJAN ADVANCED CERAMICS proudly introduces to the heavy clay manufacturing industry wear resistant ceramic pug knives and mixing paddles.

 

Rated 12 out of 15 on the Mohs hardness scale, no material can compete on a cost-to-life basis with the extreme hardness and wear resistance of Rojan alumina.
Ceramic components are mounted onto a steel structure with a polymeric bond; forming a product that is both hard wearing and resilient.

The extreme hardness and high density of the alumina ceramic lead to wear lives typically 4-10 times higher than hi-chrome steel and/or Nihard equivalents.

 

Ceramic Pug Knives and Mixing Paddles can be:

used to mix clay in the Heavy Clay Manufacturing Industry.

manufactured to suit customers' existing mixing systems.

NB: Operating temperatures should be less than 70ºC.
